Here it is! The last week of October.  Once again, we have gathered just a few of the events happening around San Diego and North County for the week. Notice a theme this week? According to Forbes Magazine, Americans spent $8.4 billion dollars on Halloween last year. It looks like Halloween is in full force in America’s Finest City!

October 28, 2017 San Diego Beer and Music Festival – Halloween Edition 6:00 – 10:00pm. The Bi-Annual San Diego Beer and Musical Festival returns for a specialized Halloween Edition featuring live music. October 28, 2017 Peace in Theses Streets Community Festival 10:00 – 5:00pm. In partnership with the San Diego Police Department and The Jacobs Center for  Neighborhood Innovation, this is a free community event with performances, local artists and so much more. Celebrate a safe Halloween experience full of games, prizes, Truck a Treat, giveaways, food and talent showcase. 404 Euclid Ave, San Diego.
October 28, 2017 Family Fall Festival San Diego Botanic Garden Encinitas 10:00 – 2:00pm. Celebrate the season with Fall themed activities like pumpkin painting, Halloween crafts, and a petting zoo. Children can wear their favorite Halloween costume and invited to participate in a costume contest. The O Truck will offer a variety of organic, farm to table entrees. No adults in costumes. October 28, 2017 Boulevard BOO! Parade, El Cajon 10:00am. Celebrating its 13 year, this anticipated parade has over 70 entries of live entertainment marching on one mile of El Cajon Blvd. Beware of spooky ghouls, goblins, ghosts and witches! Additional information: kpbs.org
October 28, 2017 San Diego Mac N Cheese Fest 11:00 – 2:00pm. This third annual event promises even more cheesiness with restaurants from the region’s top culinary talent. Attendees can sample with top local craft beers, wines and other delicious beverages. Who will win the title of San Diego’s Best Gourmet Mac and Cheese? Admission is $35 and includes unlimited mac and cheese and 10 free beer tastings and music. 21 and over only, no children or infants. October 28, 2017 Balboa Park Halloween Family Day 11:00 – 4:00pm. This free annual event gives families a safe, fun, and culturally inspired way to kick off the Halloween festivities. October 29, 2017 Liberty Stations Halloween 12:00 – 4:00pm. Liberty Station is inviting the community to join in on a free family friendly Halloween celebration. Enjoy free comics, a costume contest, trick or treating throughout the district, ghoulish arts and crafts, a play area, music and live entertainment, a Hollywood car show and more!
