New Year, New Data

Low supply, high demand were consistent themes in 2021, so it’s time to re-fresh the message. It’s a new year, and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty has new data to share.

For sellers, those that are listing earlier in the year (Jan/Feb/Mar) rather than the typical spring selling zone (Apr/May/Jun) are being favored by the market.

For buyers, appreciation is expected to be 8 to 10% in the first six months this year. Even in a multiple offer situation, buying early will allow you to ride the appreciation up if the purchase is earlier in the year.

As we progress into 2022, our new message is list early, buy early!

The current market conditions throughout the various communities in Orange County and San Diego are creating opportunities for both buyers and sellers to achieve their lifestyle goals through real estate.
