What would Paris be without the Eiffel Tower, Rome without the Coliseum or even New York minus the Statue of Liberty? The same might very well be said for the La Valencia Hotel and La Jolla. This iconic landmark is truly the anchor of this beachside community. With summer underway, the La Valencia is introducing its Summer Nights where guests can enjoy different themed menu combinations every week throughout the summer. The new Executive Chef, Alex Emery has announced the following menu to be celebrated through August.
Monday Paella Night Spain meets La Jolla
Tuesday Baja Night New rendition of local cuisine
Wednesday Schucks and Champs ( $1, $2 and $3 dollar oysters with champagne)
Thursday: Throwback to the Supper Club, a three course meal with classic drinks.
This popular evening series at La Valencia is a sought after event for not only guests at the hotel, but for anyone who appreciates the hotels stunning ocean views and vintage coastal luxury. Commonly referred to as The Pink Lady due to its Mediterranean style architecture and beautiful rose hue, Amber Anderson, of Anderson, White & Associates from Pacific Sotheby's International Realty, works closely with La Valencia management on various projects, thanks in part to the location of Pacific Sotheby's International Realtys global headquarters at 1111 Prospect Street, just across the street from the hotel.
"The La Valencia is the crown jewel of La Jolla. We are so fortunate to have a very close relationship with the hotel management and often pair with them for exclusive partnerships and sponsorships," says Anderson. "Because we are neighbors, many of their guests often find their way into our showroom to check out the Vintage 1900 Rolls Royce or the 1967 GT and Lionel Train set on display." Anderson also adds that they go the extra mile for her clients that stay at their hotel.
One exciting addition that is scheduled to open in December is the new $1 million dollar day spa in a three story home built at the turn of the century that is attached to the hotel. Because of its historical significance, careful and thoughtful renovations have been designed and received the support of the La Jolla Historical Society. The spa will feature six treatment rooms as well as additional space on the upper deck for massages. A drink and food menu will also be featured.
Pacific Sotheby's International Realty has long practiced community outreach to nurture and enhance positive and cooperative relationships between its neighboring businesses and organizations throughout San Diego County.
