Pacific Sotheby's agent Valerie Milan spent nearly a decade in the detail-oriented and deadline-driven world of action sports magazine publishing for Tranworld Media, where she gained experience in marketing and multi-project coordination, while honing her outstanding organizational and communication skills. Her professional background translates seamlessly to the demands of the luxury real estate industry, which she entered in 2011 to follow her passions for architecture and design, as well as to share her love of the southern California coastal communities, particularly Balboa Island. She began her real estate career assisting Sotheby's top agent on Balboa Island, learning everything there was to know about the small island community and the local market. Valerie holds a bachelor's degree in business with a specialization in marketing from California State University, Fullerton and has given her time and energy as a board member and information technology chair of the Assistance League of Laguna Beach and as Vice President of The Laguna Board of Realtors Charitable Assistance Fund. When not on the island, she can be found in Lake Arrowhead, where she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs and is currently restoring a vintage A frame cabin.
