Ron earned his CPA Certificate in 1980 after graduating in 1977 with a degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge.
Today, Ron's passion is to assist seniors live to their fullest. That may involve selling the home of 50+ years and moving to a smaller home or into a senior community. Ron works very closely with other professionals such as Private Fiduciaries, Bank Trust Officers, Estate Planning Attorneys, Senior Move Managers, the Senior Communities, and Planned Giving Directors to make sure when a senior needs to sell a home that it is done with empathy and compassion.
Ron currently serves as a board member for the Ed Brown Senior Center. Ron is the host of San Diego Spotlight and guest host for the Senior Advocacy Hour on the "The Lunch Hour with Mr. Credit" radio show, both heard on ESPN 1700 AM. Ron is a preferred speaker for the University of California San Diego Retirement Association on the topic of Compassionate Real Estate for Seniors.
Ron works closely with Probate attorneys and executors/administrators of the estate to make sure the property is sold for the highest price possible. Ron is thrilled to recently have teamed with a Five Star Professional, 6 years running, Patti Gerke, Realtor, to form the Greenwald Gerke Team. The team is a one stop shop for both the professional and the person in charge of selling the real estate as the Greenwald/Gerke Team will coordinate the distribution of personal property, make sure the home is ready to sell, and then through Pacific Sotheby's International Realty, Patti Gerke and Ron Greenwald market to the world for the best buyer to bring the highest price and close escrow.
