Pacific Sotheby's International Realty agent Marianne Whyte attributes her long and award-winning success in luxury real estate in Rancho Santa Fe and the broader markets of the Coastal North County area of San Diego to a continuously refined approach she describes as "client-centered."
By that approach, the careful clarification of the client's goals and preferences takes precedence over the initial showing of homes. Acknowledging how real estate transactions can often be emotional for both buyers and sellers, Marianne equates the human elements of the client-agent experience with the professional elements.
"The coaching skills I developed in academic programs at Chapman University, and refined while coaching/counseling at the Women's Opportunities Center at the University of California at Irvine (UCI) have helped me become a better realtor," notes Marianne. "The skill sets are related, and integral."
The observation comes from a long-tenured realtor who as early as the mid-1980s received a series of accolades and awards, including being named one of the top 10 agents in San Diego County and one of the 100 agents in California, as well as earning the coveted Chairman's Circle Award with a previous brokerage, which represents the top 1% in the nation for that company.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and a Master’s degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), Marianne has displayed an abiding enthusiasm for continuing education. She participates routinely in conferences and seminars, not only in real estate, but in areas of intense interest that include health and wellness, and new directions in medicine.
When not at work, Marianne also enjoys the theater, yoga, Pilates, dance and walking on the beach.
