Devon, a native Californian, inherited both her love of horses and Western lands from her family. Her father, a pilot and long time owner of Land Realty, sold much of the very same land that she is working with when it was undeveloped. She comes from a pioneering family, her great grandfather worked for the Hudson Bay Company and helped develop the French Prairie in the area at the three corners of Washington, Oregon and Idaho on the Snake River. Her grandmother’s picture on sidesaddle aboard her favorite horse “Dolly” adorns Devon’s hall in addition to pictures of her mother riding 3 of Roy Roger’s Trigger’s at the Sky Castle Ranch, a private flying club, once owned and operated by her parents in the Lancaster area of California.
She is thankful for the opportunity to travel the world and study both in the United States and abroad. She received her artistic training at the Art Center Institute of Design in Los Angeles and continues to paint in her studio on her ranch in Bonsall. In addition to a busy real estate career, she added 2 new 3 year old geldings to her training program with Sunni McCormick in Temecula and looks forward to the 2019 Reined Cow Horse competitions locally with SCRCHA and nationally in NRCHA sanctioned competitions. In April her gelding “Just Call Me Earl” won the Limited Open Hackamore 2019 Stallion Stakes in Vegas. She is a member of the Southern California Reined Cow Horse Association SCRCHA, National Reined Cow Horse Association NRCHA and the American Quarter Horse Association AQHA.
Devon is passionate about the survival of Americas Mustangs and works toward educating the public about this national heritage species and the options available that would curtail their removal from all public lands and protect them for generations to come with humane management.
Her 30 years as a real estate professional has given her valuable experience with many different buyers and sellers (i.e. builders, investors, first time home buyers and equestrians). She specializes in Equestrian and Vineyard properties primarily in Riverside and San Diego County, however, she is familiar with coastal investments and neighborhoods. Devon recently moved her license to Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty to offer her clients more exposure worldwide. She loves what she does, knows the ins and outs of the real estate market, stays up-to-date with new technology and works hard to make certain that her clients are well taken care of throughout each transaction.
