Craig Wagner is one of San Diego’s most-successful young real estate brokers. His passion for real estate was ignited twelve years ago when he came to San Diego from Michigan and immediately fell in love with the city’s historical architecture and unique landscapes.
To satisfy his fascination with local design, one of his first moves was to enlist as a docent with San Diego’s Save Our Heritage Organization (SOHO), a non-profit that defends and preserves the city’s unique designs. That led to his decision to make real estate his career, obtaining his California Real Estate Broker’s License in 2006.
A native of Detroit, Craig won his degree in applied sciences (minoring in business management) from Michigan’s Sienna Heights University. In addition he won the coveted distinction of Risk Management Specialist from the California Association of Realtors. He also is a member in excellent standing with the San Diego and National Associations of Realtors. Prior to launching his career in real estate, Craig worked as a neonatal intensive-care respiratory therapist at Children’s Hospital of San Diego and Sharp Mary Birch Hospital.
At SOHO, Craig conducted guided tours of Balboa Park’s George White and Anna Gunn Marston Mansion. His informative tours were brimming with historical and anecdotal information about the George and Anna Marston family, the genesis of Balboa Park, San Diego’s unique arts-and-crafts period, local and renowned architects and architectural styles, furniture and pottery designers and the 1915 Panama-California Exposition.
