For the 3rd year in a row, Adrian David Alcantara from the Mission Hills office of Pacific Sotheby’s went bald to raise money for The St. Baldric’s Foundation. The foundation currently funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Several hundred folks got together locally this year to participate in the annual Shavathon – a way to show their solidarity with children who lose their hair due to chemotherapy treatments.
Adrian’s special charity is 6-year-old Enzo, the son of a close friend, who has leukemia. Adrian created a website called ‘Angels for Enzo’ and has raised nearly double his goal.
Nice work, Adrian – and you look good bald!
